　 Lutong Railway is located in the central and southern part of our province, the line starts from the existing Hejiu Line Ketan station, passes through Lujiang County of Hefei City, Wuwei County of Wuhu City, crosses the Yangtze River with the bridge of Hefu Railway to Yi 'an District of Tongling City, and connects with the existing Wutong line at Zhongming Station。With a total length of 115 kilometers and a designed speed of 120 kilometers per hour, the Lutong Railway has 9 stations: Ketan, Zhangzhigang, Lujiang South, Longqiao, Hongxiang, Xiangan, Wuwei South, Last week Village and Zhongming, among which Longqiao Station and Wuwei South Station handle passenger and freight services。 It is understood that Lutong Railway is the first railway project held and independently constructed in our province since the reform of the national railway investment and financing system, and it is an important carrier to explore the construction, operation and development of Anhui railway。The total project investment is 53.4.6 billion yuan, in addition to China Railway Shanghai Bureau Group Company to bear 10% of the capital, the provincial investment group to bear 50%, the remaining 40% by Hefei, Wuhu, Tongling three cities in accordance with the proportion of domestic mileage, the city trading Group on behalf of Tongling City government to participate in 6.09%, an investment of 144.17 million yuan。

　 Lutong Railway, as the "third channel" of East China regional railway, will constitute a new coal and mineral resources transportation channel in Anhui Province, and promote the construction of 100 million ton coal production base of "Lianghuai", the development of large-scale mineral resources such as Lunan and the development of industrial belt along the river。At the same time, the Lu-Copper railway is also a port connection line connecting the river and the sea in northern Anhui and the provincial capital Hefei, which will effectively support the northbound transportation of goods along the river and the coast, accelerate the regional industrial layout, and drive the local economic and social development along the line。
