On June 12, the Planning and Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport was entrusted by the Ministry of Transport to organize the review meeting of "G3 Tongling Yangtze River Highway and Railway Bridge Navigation Condition Impact Assessment Report"。Ministry of Transport water Transport Bureau, Anhui Provincial Department of Transport, Anhui Provincial local maritime (port and navigation) management service center, Wuhu Maritime Safety Bureau, Yangtze River Wuhu waterway Department and Tongling City related departments attended the meeting。The meeting set up by the Ministry of Transport chief engineer Jiang Mingbao as the leader and the Yangtze River Waterway Bureau, former deputy director Chen Xiaoyun and other six senior experts in the expert group。

　 The experts and representatives at the meeting listened to the introduction of the project overview by the construction unit and the design unit, the report on the impact assessment of the navigation conditions of the navigation report by the preparation unit, and the report on the technical consultation of the "navigation report" by the technical consulting unit。The expert group highly appraises the report and believes that the project meets the requirements of relevant laws, regulations and technical standards。In the next step, the thematic unit will revise and improve the report to the Ministry of Transport for approval according to the opinions of the expert group。

　 This project was reviewed by the Long Haul Navigation Administration in February 2019 and submitted to the Ministry of Transport for approval. Because the project was not included in the river crossing planning at the national level, the Ministry of Transport has not accepted the review of this topic。To this end, city leaders have been to the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Communications for many times, and our company will actively docking with relevant departments。On March 31 this year, the project was officially included in the "Yangtze River Trunk Passage Layout Plan (2020-2035)", and on the same day, the Ministry of Transport officially accepted the impact assessment of the navigation conditions of the project. The passing of the review meeting marked a crucial step forward for the project to be approved。
