　 It is reported that up to now, the railway beams of the joint construction section of the project have been completed, the road cast-in-place beams have been completed 81%, the road approach bridge and connecting section of the subgrade fill has been completed 96%, the bridge foundation and substructure have been completed 94%, and the prefabricated box beams have been completed 85%。

　 G3 Tongling Yangtze River Railway Bridge, invested by the Municipal Comprehensive Transportation Investment Group Co., LTD., designed by China Railway Bridge Institute and constructed by China Railway Bridge Bureau, officially started construction in January 2022. It is the world's first double-deck cable-suspension cooperative system bridge with a total length of 11.88 kilometers, the main span of 988 meters, with highway, intercity railway, freight railway 3 kinds of river crossing functions。After the completion of the bridge, it is of great significance to play the central role of Anhui River connecting east and west, connecting Yangtze River Delta and Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei and Jiangxi, promoting the optimal development of regional traffic and improving the layout of river crossing channels。
